Who am i?

Who are you?

What are we?

Glad you’re here. As you’ve gleaned, my name’s Ana Gonzalez, and I am a trans, Spanish, multidisciplinary artist living in Portland, OR. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend visiting.

My background is in, you guessed it, stem cell biology and 2D art (with a focus in comics). I’d say I am equal parts science-minded as I am art-minded. Perhaps they go hand in hand more often than we’d like to think.

I’m from Wisconsin and moved to Portland in 2023 for a job doing science education for traditionally underserved populations. Since then, I’ve had a handful of jobs in the non-profit sector, specifically focusing in on environmental and educational equity. If you don’t know what environmental or educational equity is, google it.

My favorite things include rollerskating (on the flat and at parks), tattoos, whimsical art, not-whimsical art, my pink alarm clock that I can see from 40 feet away, my chosen family, and physical activity. Do with that what you will.
